I chose to specialize in Accessibility Testing because it’s the most rewarding, and to me personally THE most important of all the types of Testing. Accessibility is essential because the internet is a lifeline, for work, learning, shopping, connection and more. Everyone deserves equal access to it. Over a billion people worldwide live with some form of disability, and when digital products aren’t built with them in mind, it shuts them out. Accessibility isn’t just about compliance or checking boxes, it’s about inclusion, dignity, and good design, not to mention your company can get sued if it violates the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) because it fails to meet WCAG criteria (which I know like the back of my hand ::wink wink::)
As an expert Accessibility Tester and Auditor with over 20 years in Functional QA (10 in A11y), I specialize in finding the hidden flaws that automated tools miss. I go beyond just running the scans. I dig into the real user experience, test with screen readers and keyboard navigation (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), and give you clear, human-friendly feedback you can act on. From web to mobile, I bring years of expertise and a sharp eye for detail. Whether you’re preparing for compliance, or just want to do better for your users, I’ll help you get there, enhancing usability, or preventing costly accessibility lawsuits.
